2025 Silent Film Series

It’s time to find your seats for a year of live silent film showings at the Venango Museum. Having a longstanding tradition of silent film showings, the Museum is expanding its offerings in 2025 to include 5 SILENT FILM PROGRAMS.

Join us for everything from the slapstick comedy of Laurel & Hardy to the horrors of Mr. Hyde, and even journey with us back to prehistoric times and Ancient Rome with Buster Keaton.

The silent film programs will continue to showcase the Museum’s 1928 Wurlitzer Theater Organ - originally from Oil City’s historic Latonia Theater.

Each film will feature live accompaniment by organists playing historically accurate scores.

We look forward to seeing you at the Museum for the ever-increasingly rare opportunity to view these films as they were originally intended to be experienced!
